Our Name is Changed…

(May 1st, 2024)

As the Executive Director of the Big Sky Athletic Training Sports Medicine Conference, I am pleased to announce our name change of our event to the Big Sky Sports Medicine Conference. This decision was not taken lightly, but after careful consideration and feedback from our attendees, we feel that the new name better reflects the diverse range of professionals who attend our conference. While our conference has traditionally focused on athletic training, we recognize that sports medicine encompasses a broader spectrum of specialties and interests, including neurology, therapy, rehabilitation, sports science, exercise physiology, orthopedics, and more. By broadening our scope, we hope to attract a wider audience and facilitate more meaningful connections and collaborations among attendees. We are excited about this new chapter in our conference’s history and look forward to welcoming both old and new attendees to the Big Sky Sports Medicine Conference.
